Ring! You now have 5 minutes to have a social life - Go!!! As the bell rings is about what happens in those super social five minutes in the hallway between classes. Each episode takes place in front of the hallway window and starts and ends with the class bell ringing.
So where do you find solace in this institute of forced learning? The hallway - 5 minutes of play time, social time, snacks, flirt and escape time. It’s just five minutes to get your books, get a life and get to your next class - so you better make them count.
As the Bell Rings is a series filled with friendships, flirtation, cartoony gags, lots of heart, and a hearty dose of teen angst. It centers on a group of 6 boys/girls buds bound together by classes, locker location and the common quest to solve the mysterious of adolescence.
Lexi
Lexi is a childhood friend of Danny as well as the new girl in school. An all around girl, she's smart athletic, funny, fashionable and not to mention beautiful! Lexi thinks she might have a crush on Danny, but he's too focused on this music to see what's right in front of him.
Danny
Danny is our handsome heartthrob, but luckily for the girls he doesn't know it. His two best friends are ToeJam and Skipper. Danny is focused on his pop star dreams and may turn out to be the next big thing!
Tiffany
Tiffany's our president cutey, very sweet, and a great friend to Charlotte and Brooke. She’s not always the sharpest knife in the drawer, but she's always there to help friends and sometimes surprises them with a hint of genius. Skipper has a major crush on her but she just isn't picking up the signals.
ToeJam
ToeJam is our cool kid, and a great friend to Danny and Skipper. He’s the rational one of the bunch, but usually ends up going along with whatever scheme Skipper and Danny have come up with to support his friends. He's not sure if he has a crush n Brooke or not, but there's something going on there.
Brooke
Brooke is our straight A bookworm. She's a great friend to Charlotte and Tiffany, and always has a strong opinion on whatever's going at any given moment. She's not sure if ToeJam is crushin’ on her or not, but she doesn't spend much time worrying about it -- to much studying to do.
Skipper
Skipper's the funny one of the bunch. He's always coming up with a scheme for whatever situation he and the boys are faced with. Best friends to Danny and ToeJam, he prides himself with always having a plan, unfortunately, they usually backfire. He has a major crush on Tiffany and is dead set on conquering that love quest.
