By selecting decorations with a jungle theme and using the colors of Ooh and Aah (blue and red, respectively) as well as bright, tropical colors, you can easily transform your home into a tree house!

Be sure to have on hand:

Green streamers which, when strung around the room, can look like vines. Make sure to have a few just hanging from the ceiling.

Stuffed animals placed around the room, especially animals typically found in the jungle such as lions, monkeys (of course!), snakes, etc.

Blue, red, and yellow balloons.

If your budget allows it, rent plants from a local nursery.

Place real bananas throughout the room and encourage children to eat them. You can also tape plastic bananas to the walls and to streamers.

Plastic plates and cups with monkeys or jungle animals on them. If you can't find these at your local party supply store, use plain plastic plates and cups in blue, red, and yellow.
