Now it's time for games! Use your Rabbit Romp Activity Ideas sheet to organize some kid-friendly games that every bunny buddy will be sure to love.
Have all the children sit in a circle. One child is "it" and hops around the circle tapping each child on the head, chanting: "bunny, bunny, bunny." The child keeps doing this until they tap one guest on the head and shout "rabbit!" Both children have to hop around the circle trying to get to the "rabbit hole" (the empty slot in the circle) first.
Fill large mixing bowls with cotton balls and give each guest a spoon. Each guest must try to scoop out as many cotton balls as possible in one minute, wihout using their little bunny fingers!
Arrange chairs in a circle (one less than the total amount of guests) and give each child a little pillow to hold between their legs. Start the music and have the children hop around the chairs. When the music stops, the little bunnies have to find a seat. Remove one chair each round. Keep playing until there is only one bunny left!
Here are a few other suggestions to keep everyone entertained:
- Plan ahead. To help things run smoothly organize the order of events beforehand, and have initial time limits set for each activity.
- After the games, have the children help put together their Pretty Silly Pinwheels (to keep frustration low, it's best to pre-assemble as much as you can, but have the kids put the major pieces together).
- Next it's time for bunny buccaneers to set sail for fun with a Pirate Theater Centerpiece show. Have the kids use their favorite Bunnytown characters and props to put on a salty, high-seas play!
