Imagination Movers Birthday Invitations

Working on invitations with your child is a great way to get them involved in the party. They can fill out their names, help with addresses, put on stamps, and accompany you to the post office to see them sent on their way. Some tips to make the project more fun for your preschooler:

  • Since this is an activity to share with kids, allow yourself plenty of time and space for working on the invitations.
  • Have the materials all set up and ready to go before you have your child help you get started.
  • Choose a time during the day when your child is at his or her best for sitting quietly and working on a project.
  • Chat with your child about the party: What activities to look forward to, who will be coming, and of course, what guidelines you have in mind.
